Hyflex 10




Hyflex 10 is a proven, high performance waterproofing system made up of rubber modified, bituminous coatings reinforced with two polyester carriers.

The system comes with a 10 year guarantee covering both materials and workmanship.

Hyflex 10 is ideally suited for use over traditional roofing membranes, such as asphalt and reinforced bituminous membranes. Applied in liquid form it is also particularly suitable for intricate detail work.

Application

After preparing the surface in the appropriate way apply by brush or roller to the main areas and by brush to the detail areas in the following sequence:


1. Hyvodex Primer,

a low viscosity, solvent based bituminous
primer.


2. Hyflex Base Coat,

a bituminous high build coating, available in
both solution (winter) and emulsion (summer) formulations.


3. Hyflex Membrane,

a 50 gramme bi-component polyester/polyamide
reinforcement membrane, which because of its thermally welded
composition, provides high tensile strength and puncture resistance to
the system.


4. Hyflex Membrane D,

a warp knitted polyester membrane with
superb drape characteristics which is designed to facilitate work on
complex details. In addition, in stress situations at upstands and
flashings, it provides exceptional strength and flexibility to the
system.


5. Hyflex Finish Coat,

a rubber modified liquid bitumen designed to
give maximum elasticity to the weathering layer and resistance to
flexural fatigue. Also available in winter and summer grades.


6. Hyflex Roofing Solar Reflective Finish,

provides the standard solar
reflective coating, however where design considerations dictate, colour
finishes are available.
