Hyflex 15



Hyflex 15 is a cold applied liquid roof waterproofing system based on modified bitumens giving a comprehensive 15 year guarantee.


Hyflex 15 has evolved as a result of the process of continuous product development. The system utilises constituents of our traditional bituminous liquid coatings combined with additional modified coatings, which provides increased flexibility, strength and durability.

Compatible with most substrates including mastic asphalt, built up felt roofing, timber and concrete. As with all Hyflex Systems, being applied in liquid form it is particularly suitable for dressing to intricate detail work.

Applications

After preparing the surface, apply by brush or roller to main areas and by brush to detail areas in the following sequence:


1. Hyvodex Primer,

a low viscosity, solvent based bituminous
primer.


2. Hyflex Base Coat,

a bituminous high build liquid coating,
available in both solution (winter) and emulsion (summer)
formulations.


3. Hyflex Membrane,

a 50 gramme bi-component polyester/polyamide
reinforcement membrane, which because of its thermally welded
composition provides high tensile strength and puncture resistance
to the system.


4. Hyflex Base Coat,

a bituminous high build liquid coating, available in
both solution (winter) and emulsion (summer) formulations.


5. Hyflex Membrane,

a 50 gramme bi-component polyester/polyamide
reinforcement membrane, which because of its thermally welded
composition provides high tensile strength and puncture resistance to
the system.


6. Hyflex Finish Coat,

a rubber modified liquid bitumen designed to
give maximum elasticity to the weathering layer and resistance to
flexural fatigue. Also available in winter and summer grades.


7. Hyflex Roofing Solar Reflective Finish,

provides the standard solar
reflective coating, however where design considerations dictate, colour
finishes are available.
