Exemplar Roofing




The complete liquid cold applied reinforced roof waterproofing system.


Exemplar is based on the latest PMMA [polymethylmethacrylate] technology, which in essence provides a lightweight, flexible, thin but tough, fully bonded totally waterproof system, which can be applied to virtually all substrates, and is suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects.

Application


All elements of the system, both primer and waterproofing, are applied by lambswool rollers after the appropriate preparation of the surface to be overlaid ie. blisters are cut out and all voids infilled.



1. Lay an even layer of Exemplar Primer to substrate to improve
adhesion.

2. Lay an even layer of Exemplar R over the surface to be
waterproofed:

2.0 kg/m2 is the minimum thickness.


3. To the wet resin, lay in 110gm reinforcement membrane, express any
trapped air by pushing out with the roller.

4. Make the second application of Exemplar R wet on wet, ensuring that
the reinforcement membrane is totally saturated:

1.3 kg/m2
minimum thickness.


5. Lay optional colour and/or anti-skid surface.
