Hyflex 10 Plus




Cold applied liquid roof waterproofing designed for use over compressible substrates such as insulation, or over substrates which are not suitable for direct application of a liquid coating.


Complete with a 10 year guarantee covering both materials and workmanship.

Where design requirements call for insulation, Hyflex 10 Plus insulation is available as an intergral part of the system.

Hyflex 10 Plus uses the same proven waterproofing constituents as Hyflex 10 with the addition of an SBS modified, polyester reinforced base sheet which acts as a carrier for the liquid coatings. This is bonded to the substrate using Hyflex Cold Bond liquid adhesive. This offers additional puncture resistance which makes the system more appropriate for use over compressible substrates.

Application

After preparing the surface in the appropriate way apply by brush or roller to the main areas and by brush to the detail areas in the following sequence.

1. Hyvodex Primer,

a low viscosity, solvent based bituminous
primer.


2. Hyflex Cold Bond Adhesive,

which is a P.U adhesive


3. Hyflex Base Sheet,

an SBS modified base sheet reinforced with a
180 gramme polyester fleece.


4. Hyflex Base Coat,

a bituminous high build liquid coating,
available in both solution (winter) and emulsion (summer)
formulations.


5. Hyflex Membrane,

a 50 gramme bi-component polyester/
polyamide reinforcement membrane, which because of its thermally
welded composition provides high tensile strength and puncture
resistance to the system.


6. Hyflex Membrane D,

a warp knitted polyester membrane with
superb drape characteristics which is designed to facilitate work on
complex details. In addition, in stress situations at upstands and
flashings, it provides exceptional strength and flexibility to the
system.


7. Hyflex Finish Coat:

a filled bituminous high build liquid coating,
available in both solution (winter) and emulsion (summer)
formulations.


8. Hyflex Roofing Solar Reflective finsish,

provides the standard solar
reflective coating, however where design considerations dictate, colour
finishes are available.
